Pohnpeian Worship
Pohnpeian Worship is held at 11:00 a.m. The service is conducted in Atherton Chapel, located on the Ewa-side of the main sanctuary. The Rev.Radigan David preaches. This photo album offers a glimpse of this remarkable and beautiful experience.
From the January, 1944 edition of The Friend, Honolulu, is the following: "The whole purpose of worship is that men and women together may be lifted in thought and feeling in order that they may desire and love, that they may will and realize finer, richer, more Godlike lives and service in a wider, richer world. Worship is man's search for the society of God. We meet to worship God, not because He needs our praises, but because we
need the stimulus, the inspiration, the up-pull of the consciousness of the Divine Reality."
