Beading in PV is published in "Creative Quilting: The Journal Quilt Project" pg206.
The face on Beading in PV is a separte mini quilt attached only by her eyes.
Log in Your Eye - I like geometric shapes and grids. I used all my own hand dyed cottons. Wanting to do layering of circles, I began to see eyes, if turned horizontally. I also saw cells, thinking of life. But when I finished adding random beads, my final look reminded me of the scripture, "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Matthew 7:3
Synthetically Organic – This piece is painted stitch witchery and thread clippings between layers of a tan chiffon scarf, mounted on black glitzy felt with melt ed edges, surface sewing texture. The entire piece on plum denim. It’s organicness draws me in.
Photographed lint roller tape printed on silk jacquard. I also printed it twice on one piece of silk hemp. Cut both on the diagnol. I didn’t do any quilting other than the frame so as not to distract from the subtle image.
Sheer Color - Overlapping squares of my hand dyed silk organza.

I Am A Prepoosition- This is how I feel I am to my husband of 29 years and daughters. With all I do and am for them, with being the glue of the family, I feel I am but a faint image to them. I am looked thru, around, over…I am a prepositition to them. All else is a noun. May they know the importance I am to them. I need validated, I need touched, I long…yet I stay faithful. I love.
Back of "I am a prepoosition". The black silhouettes are of my husband of 30 years and two daughters. I watch them as they are focused on the distractions of this world.
Remains of the Day. This flashen body if a separate, stuffed piece attached under the top and bottom binding.
RT Inspired. After looking thru Ricky Timm's Convergence book.
