I decided to invite Asaf's soul as my guest for a few days in Toronto to experience a bit of Canadian life. My neighbour took a picture with him in front of my apartment building
After a quick snack we headed out the local swimming pool at the Jewish Community Centre where the lifeguard took a picture of Asaf and myself

I sat out there under the trees listening to the quiet, watching Sparkles (my puppy) chase dragonflies and the horses in my neighbour's field swat flies away with their tails and sent my thoughts to Blondi

I wanted to take Blondi to the beach. Today was 26 degrees and humid. We went to Cherry Beach in the east side of downtown Toronto. There were people relaxing on the sand on sailing on small boats in the water. It is Lake Ontario, which is good for wind surfing.

At the 'Celebration of Light' annual firework competition held in English Bay, downtown Vancouver, with teams from Canada, USA , China and the grand finale on August 2nd. Asaf would have lovedit! each night draws crowds of over 400,000 sitting on the beaches around the bay having picnics with family and friends in the warm summer night
