Human Rights Torch Relay Madison WI 04-20-2008
The Human Rights Torch Relay came to Madison with a mission to increase publicity of human rights crimes in China on the heels of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
The speakers at the event were Olympic gold-medalist Casey FitzRandolph, State Representative Joe Parisi, Associate editor of Capital Times John Nichols, Representatibves from Wisconsin Council of Churches, Wisconsin Tibetan Association, Madison-Area Urban Ministry, Southwest Association of the United Church of Christ, Falun Gong, Action for Sudan, Students for Free Tibet.
