I don't think that these pictures even begin to give justice of the sun coming up in the morning, but they will have to do (remember I was also on a moving train).
The sun going down in Danshue.
The Danshue river outside of Taipei.
There was so many people at Danshue!
The river meeting the ocean.
A cool picture of the sun burning through the trees as it was coming down.
The MRT station at Danshue, I wish that I could have gotten a better picture, it was a HUGE Chinese style building.
My bags that I was lugging around.
my donut!
This made me laugh on the MRT, if you can't tell what it says it says: Cell Phone Etiquette Speak softly when making phone calls. Keep your phone call brief. Send a text message instead. Good citizens create a happy atmosphere on the Taipei Metro. (this last sentence is probably the part that made me laugh the most).
I thought that this was funny, this guy came on the MRT obviously either on his way home from golfing or on his way to golfing and rather than hold his bag he just sets it up like this in the middle of the car.
A pretty Christmas tree that was in the Taipei City mall (one of the 3 malls)
Part of the material for my dress!
Brown.
Black
My material will be matched with the black.
Sorry some of these pictures are a little mixed with Sunday night dinner as I took them together. Shirley brought us these yummy cake things, the cakes were shaped like hearts and we really liked the boxes (Natalie kept the red/pink one and I kept that yellow)
A close-up of the cakes.
I don't think that this picture really begins to do the material justice but this is one of the ones for Jamie or Erin.
It will be matched with the brown silk. When I said that I wanted to do the blue with the brown both Stephanie and the store lady (she spoke English) were like, we never do that, I guess it could work. It made me laugh.
So when I was first showing Natalie I thought that the darker side was the right side and I thought that it was beautiful but then I realized that you flip it over, I just thought that both sides were beautiful.
It will be matched with this pink.
The pink by itself.
The cute little baby shoes.
My scripture cover for my smaller scriptures (Stephanie said that she could make ones for my larger scriptures out of the extra material from my dress).
Just do it!- it came free with my scripture cover or you can buy them too.
Natalie had bought several of these when she went to distribution, I never had thought about that, she gave me one. It almost looks fake to me.
I know that I shouldn't really show these yet, but I think that they are so gorgeous. I had already bought something for Katrina and Sarah but when I saw these I couldn't resist.
The different coin purses that I bought.
An even better picture of the heart cake.
Sister Wood enjoying the heart cake.
Why do I always get such good pictures of Sister Gong eating?
Shirley.
