Some of the group, L to R: the new Elder (can't remember his name, I already think that he is a little weird- luckily he's not in our branch), Elder Butler, Elder Christiansen (in our branch), Chinese Elder (can't remember his name either), Elder Mao (he is really funny and can speak English very well), Elder Pendleton (gotta love the chicken coming out of his mouth), and Sister Gong.
Great shot of me, NOT!, Christina, the new Elder and Elder Butler.
We got several pictures like this of Sister Gong, I find them quite entertaining.
Nat and I with our sweet gloves on.
Sister Wood, Sister Gong, and Natalie- Sister Gong and Natalie were quite excited to discover that they were both left handed when they sat down beside each other.
The "junk" tray.
Some of the yummy food, you take a piece of green onion, a tortilla thing and a piece of duck and wrap it up.
I think that this is some more duck but can't remember (I didn't get much of anything...6 guy Elders and 2 Sister Elders, the food went very quickly)
We were quite sad to hear that Sister Wood has only taken like 50 pictures her whole mission (the new Elder said that he has only taken like 5 for the 6 months that he has been out) and so we have decided that we are going to do a CD of all the pictures that we have taken while she has been here, it doesn't cover everything but it gives her a bunch she wouldn't have had otherwise.
Sister Gong digging into the yummyness of the tortilla.
Like I said, the moment food was placed down there were people jumping at it.
Christina's friend stood in line for an hour to get whatever this was.. I think that it was some kind of rice ball but am not sure.
Our amazing hostess, she wouldn't even let us help with the dishes, she kept on telling us that it was our day off.
Much better.
Why does Elder Pendleton always get the really strange photos?
Back Row (Girls) L to R: Natalie, Me, Sister Gong, Sister Wood, Christina. Front Row (Boys) L to R: Elder Pendleton, New Dude, Elder Butler, Elder Christiansen, Elder Mao, Elder Chinese.
Natalie's takes 3 photos and so I think that the guys started to do silly but the girls were still kind of stuck in place. (see what I mean about Elder Pendleton?)
Then we kind of figured it out.
The rest of the pictures are pretty much of the missionaries opening and reading their mail.
The girls getting ready to leave.
