Field trip to Yilan University
A school field trip to Yi-Lan University, 2 hours west of Taipei. We heard lectures and saw the projects of other students. Tatung University recently did the same for another school. It seems many schools like to host other schools as guests and exchange ideas at the end of a semester. Not a bad idea.

Tea Pot and Pottery Shopping in Yingge
It was a Saturday field trip for my Chinese class, we went to the old town Yingge that has been recently been modernized. The town specializes in pottery. Jon and I are both interested in tea, and the day turned into a giant hunt for the perfect tea set.
