As you can see, this grout is falling apart. Grout, when mixed and installed properly, should be hard as cement within several hours. Too much water, not enough cement, or not enough grout between joints can lead to faulty grout. It can turn to powder with light pressure (cleaning) or just crack right out.
This very worn travertine has factory blade marks. These are deeper grooves from dull blades when the tiles are milled at the factory. These marks often look like a vinyl record pattern. Our process can very often lessen these marks and blend them in.
