4th Annual BUCKS Presidents' VIP Breakfast & Community Awards Sponsored by Comcast

The Bucks County Community College Foundation presented its inaugural Community Awards Thursday, March 15, at the 4th Annual Bucks Presidents’ VIP Breakfast, sponsored by Comcast Business Class. The awards, presented at the Newtown township campus, honored Nurisng Professor Claire Keane; PECO, an Exelon Company; and philanthropists Kevin and Sima Zlock. Raymond “Skip” Goodnoe, president of the BCCC Foundation Board of Directors, said the awards recognize “outstanding achievement by individuals, foundations, and corporations that are making a difference in the following categories: education, community, and partnership.” “Without all of you, our mission to provide a quality and affordable education would be nearly impossible to achieve,” said Goodnoe. “Today’s honorees share in the understanding that education is the key that unlocks the door to improve lives, stimulate economic growth, and create better communities.”

Salute to Mother's Scholarship Tea 2011 Sponsored by Firstrust Bank

The Bucks County Community College Foundation held its fourth annual Women’s Scholarship Tea, sponsored by Firstrust Bank, on Thursday, October 6 in the elegant Tyler Mansion on the college’s Newtown campus. The tea raised almost $10,000 to benefit women students who support at least one child while seeking a higher education through the “Salute to Mothers” scholarship.

"Toast of the Town" Upper Bucks Campus Special Benefactor Reception

On April 28, 2011, Mr. J. Peter Dominick, Chairman of the BCCC Board of Trustees, Dr. Rodney Altemose, Executive Director of the Upper Bucks Campus, and Mr. Raymond 'Skip' Goodnoe, President of the BCCC Foundation Board of Directors, recognized Bucks County business and community leaders for their generous support of Bucks County Community College's Upper Bucks Campus, and the "One County...One Community...One College" capital campaign with an exclusive "Toast of the Town" reception. Benefactors and guests viewed the newly completely campus and were acknowledged for their contributions.

Over 150 guests from the local business community attended the event to learn more about new initiatives and collaborative opportunities for economic development in Bucks County.

"Toast of the Town" Lower Bucks Campus Special Benefactor Reception

On September 6, 2007, Bucks County Community College cut the ribbon to its state-of-the-art Lower Bucks Campus. College President Dr. James J. Linksz and Raymond Goodnoe, President of the BCCC Foundation, hosted a special reception for benefactors to the Foundation's "Fulfilling Our Promise" capital campaign.

Tyler Tasting Party

Almost 500 people attended the College's premier food and wine tasting event, helping to raise money for students enrolled in the College's Historic Preservation Program and the restoration of Tyler Hall, the French-Norman style mansion on the National Register of Historic Places and cornerstone of the Newtown campus. This building is one of the most beautiful buildings in Bucks County.

Upper Bucks Campus Ribbon Cutting - April 8, 2010

BIG DAY FOR BUCKS - Officials Cut Ribbon at Expanded Upper Bucks Campus - The $15 million “green” project adds a library, café, student commons, classrooms, and outdoor amphitheater in a 28,000-square-foot expansion. Features include solar-powered hot water, geothermal heating and air conditioning, and a vegetation-covered roof to reduce storm water runoff.
