1952 Porsche 356 Split Window Coupe

1951/52 Porsche Split Window Coupe VIN 11141 Motor # 30097. Manufactured October 1951, Imported by Max Hoffman to U.S. January 1952. Rare "interim bumper" model that replaced the integrated bumper of earlier 356 cars and prior to Pre-A and A model bumpers. Aluminum deco trim (with last 3 numbers of VIN stamped inside of trim) along oultine of bumper and rubber mouldings. Porsche built 20-30 interim bumper cars, but only this one with the Le Mans Type 527 engine installed by the factory exists. Engine 30097 is a Super 1500 Type 527 Engine (same as the Le Mans race cars) with larger dual 40 PBIC Solex carbs making 60 hp. Adaptations from Type 502 engines included adapter plates on top of intake manifolds, extensions on top of fuel pump, accelerator linkage; race developed lightweight aluminum components including hand riveted (extremely rare) fan shroud, hand hammered fuel pump tray, breast plate behind crank pulley, trays over cylinders, and air filters. 1992 Jaguar XJ 220

Extraordinary performance from this street legal, homologated version of the famous Jaguar Le Mans prepared race car that competed against the McLaren F1 and Porsche GT1. This is a full ground effects car with a 600+ HP dual turbocharged 3.5 litre 6 cylinder engine and synchromesh 6 speed transaxle (the race car produced over 700 hp and utilized dog-ring / straight cut gears in the transaxle along with a full carbon fibre body work). This street legal example has been registered in the U.S. (New York State) and has only 2500 miles of driving time since new. Beautiful cobalt heau midnight blue metallic over elegant grey leather interior. Although this car is extraordinarily fast, it is quite civilized and has becomming street manners; yet when one wants to turn it loose on the track, its ready and willing to produce speeds over 200 mph with comfort, stability and agility. 1959 Cooper Monaco, Chassis CM-5-59, Red # 5, Bob Akin’s long cherished vintage race car. Originally Serenissima owned car on behalf of Maserati with 200 SI engine. Campaigned by Colin Davis, Carroll Smith and Gianni Balzarini; won 1st place Grand Prix of Messina, raced 1960 Targa Florio. 1971 Mercedes Benz 280 SL

1971 Maserati Ghibli SS 4.9

This Ghibli SS is in excellent, restored condition; it is painted in deep Navy Blue with a beautiful creamy tan leather interior. The car was restored to a high degree by Automotive Restorations, and we know the car well. Less than 3,000 miles driven since restoration, the car shows only 33,000 miles on the odometer. 1963 AC Cobra 289 Small Block

Chassis #2104 is certainly worthy of consideration for any world class collection: it was the 104th car built out of a total production run of 538 cars, and it has covered a mere 9000 miles since new. Documentation shows that it was purchased new by a woman who kept the car until 1987. Since then, most of its life it has been tucked away in a private collection in California. Lotus 19

1962 Lotus 19 / 965 originally owned and imported by John Mecum with Coventry Climax power. Mecom ran the car through 1962 with Climax power then converted to aluminum Buick 215 cid V8 power to compete with Dan Gurney's Ford Powered Lotus 19. Some of the races the car participated in under Mecom's ownership driving as Car # 10 included: Augie Pabst, 1963 Player 200 at Mosport; John Cannon, 1964 Player 200 at Mosport; A.J. Foyt, 1964 Bridgehampton #9, various others. Original fiberglass bodywork with owner. Owner maintains extensive ownership history; well preserved and well sorted Sports Racing Car.

Steve McQueen Porsche 908 / 2

This is the famous Porsche 908 / 2 formerly owned by Steve McQueen, chassis number 908 022, that won 1st in class and 2nd overall at Sebring in 1970 with co-driver Peter Revson. It was also the camera car used in the filming of the movie "Le Mans" about the 24 hour endurance race and the battle between the Ferrari 512 and the Porsche 917K. This car has been on display at the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles after a thorough restoration undertaken under the auspices of Automotive Restorations and its sister company, Vintage Racing Services, both of Stratford, CT. 1961 Mercedes Benz 300 SL

Rare European model 1961 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Roadster in Black paint over Black leather interior and black convertible top. Odometer reads 17,846 KM and car condition, prior to restoration work, was consistent with that driving history and age. VIN number 198 042 10-002856 with engine number 198 982 10-000 (last three numbers on this replacement engine are missing - could be a late 1961 through 1963 engine). Disk brake car with aluminum alloy block engine. Restored to a high "drivable" degree, not a show quality restoration, but an excellent driver: New paint with minor body work to correct some modest issues on the driver's door and wheel well "eyebrows". Newer interior leather work and top; very good instrument cluster, dash and controls that are consistent with lower mileage usage. Mechanically excellent.
