2006 Installation

The Arcadia Association of REALTORS recently installed the new 2007 Officers and Directors at the Annual Inaugural Celebration held on Friday,December 1 at the Castaway Restaurant,Burbank.More than 250 REALTORS and guests attended “Havana Nights ” held in the beautiful Starlight Ballroom. Mistress of Ceremony for the evening was Arcadia Association Events Committee Chairman,Dawn Cassel-Lager,Baldwin Real Estate Services.The Installation ceremony was conducted by Henry Nunez Sr. father of the incoming president. The Officers installed are:Henry Nunez,President;George Monte, President-Elect;Andy Bencosme,Vice President and Hoss Nunez, Secretary/Treasurer. The 2007 Directors are:Lou Jean Barnes,Dawn Cassel-Lager,Paulina Lee,Randall Traw,Harold Baerresen,Helen Cao, Dave Scarminach,Richard H.Stone and Kelvin Wong. The Installation ceremony of 2007 President,Henry Nunez and Officers and Directors was followed by the presentation of the coveted “REALTOR of the Year ” award presented

2006 El Monte Housing Fair

The Arcadia Association and the City of El Monte have partnered together again to offer the 2nd Annual Homeownership Opportunities Fair in the City of El Monte on Saturday, September 30 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Grace Black Auditorium, 3130 Tyler Avenue in El Monte. The event offers free admission and parking, food, drinks, door prizes and great information! The AAR invites all member offices and Affiliate members to participate by sponsoring a table at the "Fair" or becoming a major sponsor. 2006 AAR Golf

The AAR Annual Golf Tournament held recently at the beautiful Brookside Golf Course was a day of fun and festivities. Under the chairmanship of Stephen Ross, Heritage Escrow and Co-Chaired by Stephanie LaPorte, Old Republic Home Protection, golfers and family and friends hailed the event as a huge success. There was a fantastic array of collector items on the silent auction and fun, interesting items for the raffle. Many thanks to the REP (Real Estate Professionals) Auxiliary and our energetic AAR Affiliate members who gave so generously of their time and talents. Special thanks to all that contributed raffle items, were tee sponsors, hole sponsors, contributed to the goodie bags, etc. and all the tremendous team effort that made this event so successful. Great job!

2005 Installation

The AAR's annual celebration and installation of Officers and Directors on Wednesday, November 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Twin Palms Restaurant, 101 W. Green Street in Pasadena. (The Twin Palms will be closed to the general public on November 30). The theme, "Our Teams Got Swing" honors incoming AAR President, Randall Traw, Henry Nunez Real Estate Company and the AAR incoming 2006 Officers and Directors. The coveted REALTOR and Affiliate of the Year Awards will be announced along with the winner of the Lifetime Achievement award. The program will be kept brief to allow plenty of time for visiting, fun and dancing. You can be sure there will surprises in store for you! Break out your fancy dress or "tux" (optional) and swing into the spirit of the event.

2004 80th Anniversary Picinic

80th celebration for the Arcadia Association of REALTORS. The “home town picnic” will take place from 4 – 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Santa Anita Inn in Arcadia. There will be loads of family fun, with all American “home town” food, drink and surprises. Come out and celebrate 80 successful years for the Arcadia Association!
