My favorite tulip color composition.
This red tulip field is one of many outside of the Keukenhof Gardens. Tulips are planted and rows and periodically the blooms are chopped off with a special machine so that the plant can conserve energy for future growing seasons.
This picture is on the main square in Delft. Only two manufacturers of Delft blue porcelain are left.
On our boat tour of Amsterdam, we saw many "leaning" buildings. Apparently, they are constructed on stilts that have deteriorated. Notice the widening gaps between buildings.
