Saturday afternoon at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. You got to see it to believe it!
The inscription says something about honoring the end of slavery...so don't knock the random sphinx smack dab in the middle of Cambridge. Just don't.
It's small, but it was our favorite description of the day: "She hath done what she could." Another favorite is the stone labeled "His Wife." How glad am I that I live in the modern world?
Andy almost single-handedly uprooted this tree. ;)
Civil war hero, Shaw. (Remember Matthew Broderick's character in the movie Glory?)
Joyce and Gilles joined us for Sunday brunch. Gilles shared his family recipe for French Toast...I can say with confidence, you've never had French Toast this good.
I love breakfast.
One big group shot before our farewells. (Miles is undoubtedly licking Mom here.)
