Hi! We meet up with team Providence.
I'm a dork here, but a Thomson Safaris guide took these photos while guiding trips for us. His name is Andy too!
"Restaurant" (we're not even in Canada yet) Foreshadowing, much?
Montreal is an island (with good food).
Lizzigator makes an appearance, of course!
David continues to be a sommelier even when he's away from his extensive wine cellar. Notice the wine glasses (imported from Providence).
He's not being silly, it was that good.
Gilles maps stuff out for us.
I don't know who that is.
Andy and I are happily eating crepes. Oh la la!
Crepe reflection.
Old Montreal - this is our view from our creperie.
David brought some wine. :)
We didn't have any fun.
Steak tartar - unbelievable at Gilles' favorite restaurant in Montreal/the world, L'express.
Octopus salad...so pretty.
You can dress him up....
My and Andy's second visit to L'express did not disappoint.
Gilles' favorite coffee house: La Bruelerie on St. Denis Street.
Ordering breakfast at La Bruelerie
Lizzigator really needed caffeine after such a crazy night.

Our waitress, who we loved. She served us the next morning too.
Translation: garden gnome prison, do not feed the dwarfs. This was in front of someone's apartment.
I really wanted to feed them but being the law-abiding citizen I am, I resisted.
On Mount Royale: great view of the city and bursts of tulips.
Tam-tams (and lizzigator)! This is my favorite.
On Sunday afternoons in the summer, people get together in this park to partake in free-form drumming or just hang out and enjoy Montreal without 12' of snow on the ground.
Kristin and I loved people watching. There were plenty of characters to keep us busy.
I've got sol
We did this often.
Our last dinner at the famous Au Pied le Cochon and I was already full when we arrived!
