Step 1: Remove rugs and carpet. Ick.
No fun! Our games were underwater.
Our demasculinated Man Room. Or as Andy prefers, the Media Room/Home Theatre.
A couple of feet were sliced off of the bottom of the walls to avoid mold growth. The green thing is an industrial dehumidifier, we had several throughout the basement. They were super effective, I needed moisturizer after working down here for lengths of time, seriously.
It will be cozy again. It will be cozy again. It will be cozy again. (That was a small peak into my brain)
We had a bunch of crazy big fans throughout the basement too.
