Here's the original cabinet. This is SO not us. I filled it with stuff because I didn't know what else to do with it.
Doors removed, new hardware added and we uncovered exposed brick on the back wall! Well, not really...I *wish* we uncovered exposed brick. This brick is faux.
Primed brick, lighting added, and extra shelves removed. We are in the midst of stripping the wood of its 756 layers of paint. Stripping paint is one of the less-fun home improvement processes we've done.
Wood stained, brick painted, and side molding removed.
Once we improved the top-half of the cabinet, we realized the bottom-half looked crappy so we reluctantly refaced the drawers.
Nice drawers, Andy! The drawers on the lower half of the cabinet actually slide in and out, thanks to Andy. He made these from scratch.
