Yeah, I didn't catch anything. It's been several years since I've caught anything at the Outer Banks. This Year I didn't even try to fish.

A nor'easter type storm rolled through causing the surf to spill over the dune. Just think what it would be like with a hurricane...
Picture of a beach house little to close to the ocean... Thankfully we didn't stay in this one, but it will be featured in an upcoming movie based on Nicholas Sparks book, Nights in Rodanthe. My guess is one good hurricane and this house won't be there much longer.

Needless to say it drew quite a crowd and the white car is actually stuck.
A few seconds after this shot a big surge came and the guy almost got crushed between the car and front end loader... pretty scary
