Films At The Gate 2012

Every summer, the Chinatown Park beside Boston’s Chinatown Gate becomes a free, outdoor theater, showing Kung-Fu and classic Chinese-language films under the stars. This event is co-organized by Sam and Leslie Davol of Boston Street Lab, Asian Community Development Corporation and film curator Jean Lukitsh.

6 Fort Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting

Over 65 project funders and friends joined Mayor Thomas P. Koch and Asian Community to celebrate the newly completed renovation on this 34 unit development that will provide affordable rental housing for families at 6 Fort Street in Quincy. The guests enjoyed the ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception.

Wall-breaking Ceremony of 6 Fort Street, Quincy MA

On November 8, 2010, over 40 working partners, funders and state officials joined Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC) and Mayor Thomas P. ACDC Year of the Tiger New Year Celebration 2010

On Saturday March 6, about 130 guests joined Asian Community Development Corporation for the 2010 Year of the Tiger New Year Celebration at China Pearl Restaurant in Boston. The guests enjoyed delicious Chinese Feast and an entertaining evening! There were lion dance performance, kung-fu demonstration, Bollywood dances, martial arts, Chinese New Year exhibits and fortune reading. The guests had fun participating and watching Eye of the Tiger Fashion Walk and listened to melodious Marimba and Chinese Hammered Dulcimer music. The guests also made wishes on the Yoko Ono Wish Tree which symbolizes Happiness, Wealth, Longevity, Romance, Success and Harmony.
