Bethany McNamara of Little Elm, TX, with HHC 2-149TH GSAB, kind of lost her way during her run through the obstacle course, she didn’t win but was hilarious to watch and earning lots of extra points for creativity during the unit’s Thanksgivings Day 1st annual Turkey Shoot at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, on Nov. 27.
1SG Michael Garcia with Delta Co. 2-149TH GSAB, actually went the full distance of the obstacle course, claiming to be practicing his turkey dance without being shot, however he was hit immediately on his second time through.
