At the Leamington Lift Bridge - pausing to muster as some people had detoured to avoid a lorry reversing down the one-way street.
Posing by the Lift Bridge.
On the Water of Leith path near Colinton - it's so dim under the trees that the flash lights up all the reflective bits.
Same again, but without the flash this time.
A little further along. We had lovely sun for most of the ride - sun tan lotion liberally applied.
Another pause. We are half way up the hill to Red Moss, and flapjack emergency supplies have just been passed round.
At the highest point of the ride, with super views to the Pentlands.
Look - super view.
Lovely quiet road.
I think that I was trying out an action shot taken from a moving bike.
Sideways action shot.
And another.
Empty road. I'm sure there are meant to be some cyclists there... Perhaps it was shutter lag.
There they are (reverse shot!)
Lunch stop at Heriot Watt campus.
Bikes locked up for lunch.
Heading back along the canal. I went ahead to take photos of everyone as they came past (sorry).
Nice grin Chris!
Someone was filming beside the canal.
Nearly at the end of the route, people started to leave us.
