This is the first one of a three-shots experiment. I postproduced the same shot in 3 different ways trying to convey three different messages. The first one here "mise en abyme?". I tried to create a double layer effect by showing that the scene in the painting might represent itself. Don't know if I am clear, but obviously this isn't a real "mise en abyme", that's why there's the question mark. Second one, next!
"the thief". I think it's quite obvious why I did chose this title. Except the painting, the whole photoframe has been desaturated (To be sincere, I don't remember how I got the deep green tone.. I really like to remember how I did!!), so it is like the painter stole all the colours away! This one and the third one are not postproduced to obtain a lomographic effect but I thought they fit here better than in other albums, next!
"the silence". The total absence of colours and of other figures such as animals or human beings, makes me think that the place was in total silence. Moreover, the painter is not painting, so there is also a staticism that enhance this silence.

This pic was taken in the library of my Faculty (yes, I was studying.. but, you know, when photography calls..). Unfortunately there was noone outside so the effect of peeping is not so immediate! By the way, who cares?
heaven&hell This is the façade of the building in front of the one I'm living in. Today while I was studying (yes, when photography calls..) I saw that beautiful reflection of the above windows and then I noticed how bleak were the below windows, so I took the pic with this religious idea of division and opposite. Then, lights and shadows did the rest of the job!
