Perhaps this helps explain the browness. . .it was really like the desert . . .we were amazed, just over the mountain on the Mammoth Springs side, it was completely green.

Yellowstone - Cave Falls - Sept 2, 2010 - This is in the furtherest Southwest corner of Yellowstone, only accessible by going through Idaho - 11 miles of bone jarring teeth rattling gravel roads to get here. . .absolutely worth it!
