A pioneer in aerial fire fighting, H&P was founded in 1969 by co-owners Dan Hawkins and Gene Powers. Over the years, the company has grown to become one of the nation's leading providers of fire fighting services, aircraft, and equipment to the USDA Forest Service and other federal and state agencies as well as local municipalities in combating brush and wildfires. They have conducted thousands of aerial missions over the years, both the in United States and abroad, including crop dusting, seeding, and various other operations.
