Plaza de Toros, Granada, Spain
In two groups of photographs shown here, Diane Barceló records the back rooms of the Plaza de Toros in Granada. The one set shows the infirmary for injured toreadors. The other set is the animal slaughter area. These rather clinical spaces do not betray the violence or the spectacle of the bullfight but reveal severe, sterile and simple rooms where death is met.
