Javadhu Hills:Trekking was done in north west of Javadhu Hill range.To be more precise,we trekked in Kotamalai & Kamandalam river near Padaveedu.
Altitude of most of the hills in Javadhu range is around 600mts to 700mts,with highest peak being 1000mts.
Javadhu Hills are rich in minerals like sulphides,Quatrz.It was preaviously known for sandalwood trees(now most were cut-down).

Easy trek,accessible roads,knowledgeable local guides makes Javadhu hills an ideal place for bird watching,bird & macro photography.I couldn't find much photography subjects because of not rightly equipped and being in wrong time of the day.But spotted kingfishers,house sparrows,cuckoos,Shama bird(could only hear the sound) and songs of many other birds.
