Photo by Risa. Every Fall there is a Dragonfly hatch here in Kuroishi and there are millions of these guys flying around.
As I said. Millions.
There are also these giant spiders everywhere. This one is medium size at about 4 cm across. I have seen them at about 10 cm before!
I took this on our visit to Osore-zan. This is probably moss with a red tint from the copper in the ground...I guess.
This is also at Osore-zan (Shimokita). A lot of the pools of water around this area where this color.
