Chedi (Stupa or place where relics are house) in Wat Pho. The petals are cut from Chinese ceramic bowls.
Stone Guardian, Wat Pho. When Thai merchant ships sailed to China and unloaded their wares , they loaded rock ballast into the empty ships for the return trip. When returned to Thailand, they gave the ballast to temples who then carved them into the many guardians found around the temples.
