The camo netting is from Build-O-Rama. I rolled it tight and secured it with 1/16th inch black pin striping tape. The antenna has a glob of CA glue on the tip. The copper wire will be used for the mantlet cover.
Placement of the barbed wire coil is still pending. It looks good here for now.
I added cast texture to the turret using Gunzi-Sangyo filler 500. I had to brush it on in small areas and stipple it with a stencil brush before it dried. I an anxious to paint it to see how it looks against the other surfaces.
The crate on the front fender is not glued yet. I am still deciding if this is a good place for it.
I added a lot of parts from the Eduard PE set for the M60A1/A3 set. I also added padlocks to the storage lockers from Accurate Armor's set. One of the glaring oversights for this kit was the lack of screening material to model the stowage baskets. I have more work to do on this, but you can see how I got started.
I added bolt details to this circular "thingy". It looks like an air filter to me, but I am not sure.
Because the Starship didn't have a travel lock for the gun tube, I have to close off the attachment point. I don't think this is correct, but I have no reference to show otherwise.
The headlight brackets on all the M60's I ever built lack the two bolts that hold the components together.
Much of the reading I have done on this tanks leads mt to believe there were two sighting systems. One for the missiles and one for the artillery shells. Either way, I found pictures of a sight over the gun tube and I opted to model then in the open position.
A view of the dust cover I sculpted out of Tamiya epoxy putty.
A view of the dust cover I sculpted out of Tamiya epoxy putty - form the other side.
A slightly modified Tamiya Figure with a Hornet head. I still have to add the mike boom to the helmet. Also note the putty job I did on the M2.
I chose the summer MERDC camo scheme for this subject. It is complicated scheme, but worth the effort.
I added an Eduard PE set normally used for the M60A3. I replaced the Tamiya track with AFV Club individual workable track.

With camera flash.
The headlights are MV Lens jewels. I bought these YEARS ago when I bought the kit. The star is stenciled on using Tamiya weathering powders and a metal Lionroar stencil.
Another shot of the turret optics. The lower sight next to the barrel is a small rhinestone jewel.
Chrome Mylar, like that found in the RC Airplane section of the hobby shop, was used to make the spotlight "pop". I have started using it on all the optics of my models, as can be seen on this subject.
I added some detail to the smoke dischargers using Evergreen plastic bits and small chain.
Accurate Armor has a photo-etch pad lock set, and I used them to lock the stowage bins. The turret stars are Archer dry transfers.
