This photo and the three previous, were taken indoors under lamp lighting. The others were taken outdoors. You can see the difference in color.
Eduard photo-etch was used to detail this fine Tamiya kit.
I am not certain that photo-etch is worth the pain on this gun. Next time I will use the Academy machine gun set. Every bit as detailed with less the frustration of dealing with metal on plastic gluing.
Tissue paper and model ship rigging were used to form the mantlet cover. Lead foil was used for the attachment points.
