All the stowage box latches are from the Academy Machine Gun set. These parts are located on the sprue tree and need to be 'shaved' off the tree.
The signal flag is tin foil glued over a paint brush bristle. I am unsure if their were markings on the flage other than color.
The strap is thin masking tape, and the gas 'tins' were dented by filing ad cutting the corners.
More denting achieved by cutting and filing the corners. The chain is twisted fine wire hammered flat. I also added the support brackets from strip styrene.
The interior for this version of the Stuart is incorrect, however, I do not have any reference to make the corrections. In particular, the ammunition stowage for the 37mm cannon.
The "rubber band" track was given a lacquer wash of Tamiya Hull Red. The outer track blocks are painted dark grey while the inner portion is painted black. The metal links are rubbed with a 6B graphite pencil.
Academy includes some fantastic ammo boxes in their machine gun set.
