Kakariki wreck - Williamstown 26-06-2010
The Kakariki sank when it collided with another steamer, the Caradale, off Williamstown at 11pm on January 29, 1937. Five people died when the steel steamer the sank. There is only scattered wreckage to be found since the ship was blasted some time ago. It is in about 6m of water.
