Waiting at the info sign for the arrival of the other OFC members.
And still waiting... Where is everybody? (Turns out they where all outside the car-park on the street!)
A pretty waterfall. With all the rain lately it's flowing like a good 'un.
The famous Ingleborough showcase cave. Last visited by Znook many, many moons ago.
Stone bridge outside Ingleborough cave.
Another shot...
Now is the picture tilted, or is it the tree? You decide.
I just love how water bubbles out from these openings. Makes you want to don a wetsuit and go explore!
OFC members tackle the scree.
Go! Go! Go!
Nobody gets left behind on an OFC meet.
Nearly there! Unfortunately soon after this the heavens opened making it too dicey to use the camera :(
Fools, I mean future explorers, stand in line for the 330ft descent of Gaping Gill.
What a good doggie. It never moved a muscle all day.
The CPC Winch hut. That's one big coil of wire...
Almost there! OFC members chat amongst themselves whilst waiting for the 'chair'.
Yep, that's the way down. All 330 feet of it.
Inside the Gill. Darn that blimmin' spray.
People waiting to go back up. Taking pictures down here is wrought with difficulties - low light and constant spray being the main issues.
The shaft you go up and down in. The spray can be seen illuminated by the light from the surface.
The guiding wire for the winch chair can just be seen between the guy in yellow/kid in red and black.
Waiting around for the chair to arrive.
A flash shot to show how much spray is in the air. Constantly.
The chair arrives with another wannabe speleologist.
I wonder who this ugly mug is ;) Arghh, those stupid reflective strips. I must've lit up like a Christmas tree down there :( Thanks Peter, I owe you one LOL!
