Knysna
From Cape Town to Knysna, 380 miles along the Garden Route, through mountains, grain fields, small villages and cities, along the Indian Ocean at the "bottom" of South Africa. I rode to Knysna by car 7 hours, stayed overnight in Knysna, and traveled back to Cape Town by bus, 8 hours. Knysna is famous for oysters and “The Heads”, two cliffs that overlook the ocean's entrance to the lagoon.
