A hank comes looped, folded and knotted.
There are two knots that need to be undone. One at the midpoint and the other at the ring end.
Loose the mid-point knot and pull the ring end through.
Now the hank is unraveled.
Cut the guts in half to minimize the potential for tangling.
Sequester any short strands into neat piles to avoid tangling later on
Do the same for the longer strands. Sequester the MF's
Coil them up and organize all the strands into an orderly array.
Loop the remainder into an orderly coil then...
take a short length of gut for binding
Knot the gut around first around the remainder of the intestines and then around the ring before remanding to storage.
