Cold creek, early spring (sold)
This was the visible surface of what you saw in the last. Only noticed the notches when grubbing around. These two look wonderful together, and won't make sense unless they're paired. What was it used for?
Shield-like swans in slough. Their backs don't look like feathers.
Sisu is (sort of) waiting for me in this one. I'm trying to catch up.
Very quiet rock in very quiet pool
Mouse hops, dragging tail
Ancient pine, almost exposed. I hope its progeny are around it. But look how many cones it has on its living part. This is another fave. (sold)

Buds on cottonwoods, bright willows, and a hesitant cow...(sold)
Camo Killdeer!
These two are odd, and you're seeing them about life-size. This is the long-covered underside of what must have been a tool. Arrow sharpening? Leather thong loosening?

Treacherous ice shelves along the Dearborn River. (sold)
Close-up of ice lobes that grow along fast, shallow water.
Sorry about the scan line. Can't get rid of it. There are a number of bull elk bedded down beside the pines in this image. (sold)
A little snipe, trying to disappear. (SOLD)
Wafer-like ice on the Slough, afternoon, reflections of trees. (sold)
One of my very favorites -- for Sisu and for the light. (sold)
