Vintage Jazz Photos.
Most of the photos were taken during the early 1980s in and around Newcastle. Many are from Jazz North East gigs at the Corner House Hotel. Others are from jazz festivals such as the Breda and North Sea Festivals in Holland as well as the Edinburgh Jazz Festival. This is an ongoing site and is regularly updated. Despite the title, 'Bebop Spoken Here', there are no stylistic restrictions, my tastes run from Bourbon Street to 52nd Street and beyond. With the exception of photos of myself that I have cheekily, and without any musical justification included, they were all taken by myself.
