Floral Recon
All of these images were taken with WWII aerial recon lenses. Thirty-one were done with a 1944 Kodak 7“ Aero-Ektar mounted on a 1949 Speed Graphic 4x5. Five were done with a British Air Ministry 8” Pentac lens mounted on a Ansco 5x7 view camera. The predominant film used was Efke 25 and 50 ASA, vintage emulsions that were first developed in the 1950s. I developed the film and negatives scanned on an Epson Perfection 600. A handful of these images were digitally toned with Abode Lightroom 3. Outside of that and eliminating scanner dust and occasional developing sprites, there has been no other post-processing of these photos.
