Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai - An evening to celebrate the spirit of Sachinda and his music
SDBurman.Net in collaboration with Media and Edit Solutions organised an evening to remember the maestro Sachin Dev Burman in his centenary year.
The program titled 'Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai' explored various
facets of SD Burman's music through different mediums..... music,
dance, audio visuals and personal remniscences. The musical show was desgined to explore the richness and diversity of Burmanda's oeuvre showcased through the prism of the Navrasas or nine rasas. The pervasiveness of these rasas and the gamut of emotions in Burmanda's music was the theme for the evening.
The chief guest for the evening was Shri Gopal Das "Neeraj", the
renowned poet and lyrcist who has had a short but fruitful association
with Burmanda. Smt Meena Kapoor, who made her debut with SD Burman was the special guest for the event
