SUDAN YOUTH SOUND: A Daniel Pearl World Music Days Concert
In memory of the tragic kidnapping and death of Wall Street Journalist reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan in 2002, the U.S. Embassy in partnership with Blue Nile Channel and Comboni College Khartoum presented a concert highlighting the risks that journalists take every day to bring us the news and seek journalistic truth. Over 3,100 Daniel Pearl World Music Days concerts have been held around the world, since 2002, “to promote cross-cultural understanding through journalism, music, and innovative communications.”
