A forge at PHF - what I am somewhat basing my forge on
PHF forge again
The Smithy in its early stages -
a stump I got from a tree service for the anvil,
the quenching bucket, and a tarp overhead. The picnic table bench is just a placeholder for where the workbench will go.
Workbench in the smithy - made in an afternoon
The forge top - this is the shelf and steel sheet I cut for the forge bed. The hole in the middle is where the firepot will go. The steel sheet was 16 guage.
The anvil in its place (and some random tools, etc). It's still loose until I can make the spikes to hold it in place.
The Firepot - I made this out of an old brake drum, a steel plate, and some piping.

The almost finished smithy!
The forge. All that's missing is a blower.
11102008: The forge in operation for the first time!I made a handle for the water can I use to put out the fire, and also worked on some tongs.
Me at the forge on its first day in operation, making the watering can handle
