A Tex-Mex burrito platter. The burritos are very, very big. We usually get four servings out of one of them. They are stuffed with chicken, refried beans, and a few vegetables. Be forewarned that thre are copious numbers of jalepeno peppers in them.
Cheese, glorious, cheese. It's much cheaper and better quality from Costco and lasts forever. The Colby/Jack is a particular bargain and extra yummy.
Three huge boxes delivered by a takkyubin (courier) service. All boxes are delivered C.O.D. for the shipping cost. You pay for the goods at Costco, but pay for the shipping when the boxes arrive.
Candy purchased to give to students as part of a Christmas goodie bag.
My husband is a fan of Pepperidge farms cookies so he picked up this multi-pack. It was around the holidays and it was an indulgence, but he doesn't do this often.
Expensive, but subliminally tasty almonds.
We bought the huge jar of peanut butter to use in making vast amounts of peanut butter cookies to give away as Christmas gifts to students.
On the left is the average jar of penaut butter from a Japanese market. On the right is the vastly cheaper and larger Costco version.
