Constructing the Pipeline AS.
It was very nice of Jerry to ride up (some fun on his new dirt/street bike) the very rough Pipeline Road to help construct the AS.
It was a very nice warm day, Friday the 15th, 2009.
Taking some time out for a cold beer and some snacks.
Covering the structure with tarps to either provide shade or shelter from the rain.
The first aid gazebo set up. Inside are two cots and supplies.
Putting up large signs to delineate “50 mile and 50 K”.

We were treated to a beautiful sunset on Friday night.
Nice evening.
Everything set up, time for a few beers and some dinner.

By the time Jason came in and was headed out it was full on cloudy. He is running without a shirt, and still sweating!

These two thought Molly rocked! Dave D. has all the “good” pictures of the runners with Molly. He was sure to have the runners give her some “Sheep Lovin'” before heading to the finish point.
Things became very busy rapidly.

Dave made things easier for us. Not only is he an EMT but also a Ham Radio Operator. He handled all comunications and runners that were not feeling good. Thanks Dave!
