Opus Christi Magnum 11-4-2010
Opus Christi was held on November 4, 2010. The event began in St. John Cathedral with an introduction to Opus Christi Magnum and to Lafayette Catholic Service Centers given by Bishop Michael Jarrell. A brief overview of each service center within the Lafayette Catholic family was delivered by LCSC Executive Director, Kimberly Boudreaux. Mrs. Boudreaux then invited a past resident of the St. Michael Center for Veterans program, Courtney Chapmin, to speak of his experience with Lafayette Catholic, and the success he has been able to acheive after using the program to its fullest potential. Mr. Chapmin's testimony provided those in attendance with insight into how their support of Lafayette Catholic Service Centers has made it is possible to help a person get their life back on track.
A reception was held at Le Viche following the presentation. LCSC would like to thank Father Chester Arceneaux for opening up his home, so graciously, in support of our organization.
