Children's Eco Play Area at Monroeville Home & Garden Show 2010
A great collaborative effort involving: the wonderful folks from Coral Productions (thanks for trusting my vision!); Trib Total Media; CBS Radio; Mike & the fellas from Amish Yard; my crew. At first, parents were rather shy & tentative: not sure if the tykes could actually PLAY, or only look. Second day - crawling with children! Much positive feedback, valuable questions & networking, some chat time with WTAE's Wendy Bell, no injuries or lawsuits, and even some job leads. Need a better forum to engage the children while we explain to mom & pop the importance of unstructured free play opportunities. Perhaps next show.
