my weakness for identifiable Greek architecture... yep, Ionic columns
The UK premiere for Twilight was happening in Leister Square -- I saw the tops of the heads of the two main characters from afar as I wandered by
I also took this awful blurry picture of me next to a poster of Eddie Izzard, figuring that was as close as I'd get
I didn't think to take a picture of my delicious sushi before I ate it, but I took one of the hilarious fish-shaped soy sauce
I win at life.
the following day... geeking out at the British museum
KERPOW!
statue of Venus that I doodled when needing a break
I feel like I've taken quite a few of these pictures... maybe eventually I'll take a good one
my second favorite picture... a Charlie Chaplin impersonator trying to feed the birds (there was food on the end of his cane)
I failed at strategic-TARDIS-photography this time
excellent timeline in the Tate Modern. I love futurism.
I took the tour of the Globe theatre... it was kinda neat, but not super exciting
in the Globe (which is actually outdoors)
late night at the Tate Britain... people getting hairstyles like their favorite paintings, obviously (I don't know who doily-girl was going for)
sneaking a photo into a gallery... the archer statue was another thing I doodled when I needed to rest my feet
tree with lights powered by bicycles
better than the other picture... the TARDIS in front of the National Gallery. I'll have to get it in Paris and Pisa... since I'm going to those places
Trafalgar
Mr. Fancypants in St Pancras... I couldn't resist sneaking a shot of those ridiculous shoes
train stations are cool.
