Holy Week at First Church is always a busy time. We got down there early on Good Friday, to run through some music stuff, and I had the camera in tow to take some shots for Sharz so she could take them to a seminar the next week.
Figured I'd get some shots of the stained glass around the sanctuary before the interior lights got turned on, lit by the overcast afternoon outside.
Why Indian Chief in Big Headdress is giving Jesus a snack, I don't know.
We have two somewhat generic windows. I only shot one of them. After picking up the shards, they let me photograph the other one.
You can see our beautiful Audio Cabinet to the right. Nobody knows how to work it, except to plug and unplug it.
There are FOUR Lights!

Becky's organ console.
And what's an organ console without a BatPhone?
I think this is my favorite of the bunch.
Sharz's captive space-alien. Luckily it emits light, which is handy when the lights are turned off during the service.
ooh, wide-angle lens.
This was when the interior of the sanctuary was re-done. I think it's cool that the date is invertible.
Collection Plates in repose.
End-of-pew decoration by Linda Mull (there's a dozen of them). She does new ones every year, and they're fabulous.
Lectern fall by Sharz.
After the Good Friday tenebrae service, we installed all of the flowers. All of the fragrant flowers. The "overpowering because they've been in a warm sanctuary for two days and I have allergies" flowers. I'm usually doped to the gills on Benedryl on Easter.
The Flozable and the Chalice Whaznit, by Sharz.
EXTREME CLOSE UP!
Easter Morning.
Little did I know that half way into the service the Pastor Amy would break into song, "I'm gonna wash that sin right out of my hair."
Every Easter we have a re-enactment of Day of the Triffids.

We're starting a Prayer Shawl ministry. The first one was for Sally Daugherty, and was blessed during the service.
Sharlotte presents the prayer shawl at Sally's home.
Last one! Thanks for looking.
