It's Christmas time, and that means that First decorates the windows. This is the new sign in front of the main office area.
It was a surprisingly warm and humid day, with dewdrops abounding.
The sanctuary all gussied up. Unfortunately, the web album won't show you the really huge and detailed version. Feel free to download it and bask in its glory, or get it from http://servinggodgracefully.org/sanctuary-pano-lg.jpg
We have been having earthquakes in the area.
The theme this year was "CH.R.I.S.T.M.A.S" - the window decorators choose a letter and base a theme on it. The kiddlings also did a program, with a potentially different mapping of the letters. Here is C for "Caesar Augustus, City of Bethlehem and Christ Child" and "Candles"
"H" for "Hawaii" and "Holy Night", and "Hark the Herald Angel Sing"
this one is cool zoomed-in.
"R" for "Root of Jesse, Redeemer", and also for "Rejoice".
Rejoice this Happy Mom.
"I" for "Inn, Innkeeper" and "Infant".
"S" for "Shepards / Sheep"
"baaaaaa!"
"T" for "Travelers" and "Trees"
this one is also cool zoomed in.
dial "M" for "Mary" and "Manger"
I can't for the life of me figure out what the "A" is for. "all people have wings" maybe.
another cool one to zoom in on.
"S" for "Savior", and "Santa".
and "Snow Tableaux"
and "Snowman"
We're done with the windows. This is the Main-ger scene in front of the Altar.
And finally, the Angel on top of the tree.
A close-up. Also cool zoomed-in. Last one, thanks for looking.
