"Re-imagining Palestine" - Exhibits and Screening, Bethlehem, 19.11.2010
Two exhibitions made by Palestinian children successfully opened in the International center of Bethlehem (Dar Anadwa) on the 19th of December, at 4.30pm, on the eve of the International Day for Children. The opening was followed by the screening of 9 short films made by Palestinian children in the West bank and Gaza during workshops organized by Voices Beyond Walls and Play, Education and Children (EJE). The second exhibition was made by Palestinian children and artists Bashir Qonqar and Wadiee’ Khaled who worked on a project in the public libraries of Doha, Dar Salah, Beit Jala, and Battir, funded by COBIAC.
Through their work, all the children offer us a stunning collection of drawings, photographs and films which provides a unique and moving insight into the lives and minds of Palestinian children in 2010.
