Thai govt has strict laws for smoking.. Fine for smoking at no smoking zone is 2000 baht + damage cost. You will neither find smokers nor tobacco shops. At star hotels you will get ciggi but ciggi cover will have pics of patients suffering from lung cancer...if you are not sure if you should smoke or not, you will definetely wont smoke after looking at those pics.
