From the south east coast of India in Chennai to Cochin, Kerala and then to Dehrdun in the the 006 - 007 visit to India zigzagged through India. We re-visited a places where Partnerships For Change is contibuting to provide education and vocational training for girls and women.
We then met the Oracle of Tibet in Goa, India and traveled with him and his Tibetan monk delegation to Mongod where he is building a monastery for the lineage of Oracles that have served Tibet.
We then joined Lam Tenzin at the Children's Education Development Society near Dehradun in the Himalayans. Nineteen orphans that have been rescued from the Dolpa region in Nepal high in the Himaylayans are being cared for and educated here Lama Tenzin's family.
We concluded this part of the trip in New Delhi and a visit to Aggra where the Taj Mahal is.
